Key Responsibilities:

Hand placement of forms and rebar for walls, sidewalks, roads, and curb & gutter.

Perform a variety of tasks involving strenuous manual labour and use of hand tools.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, Construction drawings, and specifications

Ability to discuss and plan daily project procedure/goals with fellow concrete personnel to maximize productivity and workmanship.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Must have a valid Class 5 (or better) drivers license with clean drivers abstract.

Own transportation.

2-3 years experience with Commercial, roads, sidewalks, and curbs

Overtime as required.

Required to perform tasks that involve heavy lifting, bending, and strenuous movements.

Must be physically able to repetitively lift and carry at least 50lbs on a regular basis.





Use of personal protection equipment is required.

Work Setting and Physical Requirements:

Must be available to work long hours including evenings and weekends during the work season from April to December.

Must be able to work in extreme heat up to and could exceed 64 Celsius.

Must have CSA-approved safety boots.

Able to sit for a long periods and look over shoulder.

Able to climb up and down from equipment.
