What You'll Do

As the Controller, you'll oversee the company's financial operations while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across all accounting functions.

Primary responsibilities include

- Lead all accounting operations, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, and Fixed Assets

- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP

- Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process

- Manage cash flow, banking relationships, and working capital

- Oversee month-end and year-end close processes

- Coordinate annual audits and work closely with external CPA firms and tax advisors

- Develop and maintain strong internal controls and accounting procedures

- Provide financial analysis and reporting to executive leadership





- Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and operational efficiency

- Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting staff

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

- Minimum of five (5) years of progressive accounting experience

- Previous leadership or supervisory experience

- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting

- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

- Experience using accounting software or ERP systems

- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

- CPA or CMA designation

- Experience in manufacturing, mining, energy, industrial, construction, or heavy equipment industries

- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics, or JD Edwards

- Experience managing multi-entity accounting

- Strong budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning experience

- Proven ability to improve accounting processes and internal controls
