Method + Metric is looking for a full-time Digital Marketing Intern to join our team. We are looking for an individual with a passion for SEO and digital marketing. You'll get the chance to work on different projects in a variety of industries. We're a small team, building big things. This role is a full-time position.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Work closely with the team to create marketing materials that sustain readers' curiosity and create buzz
- Contribute to the strategic direction for client optimization projects
- Contribute ideas for new marketing initiatives and documents
- Uncover opportunities for Method + Metric to contribute to the online community
- Compile, analyze, and report on results for strategy improvement
- Monitor SEO and user engagement and suggest content optimization
- Establish KPIs and metrics for reporting on results for all digital campaigns, as well as providing recommendations for improvements
- Contribute to the development of SEO and content strategy for a variety of clients

The Skills and Requirements You Need
- Pursuing a Certificate or Degree in Business or Marketing or recent post-secondary graduate
- Possesses knowledge & understanding of On-page and off-page SEO
- Strong analytical skills to be able to interpret social media and other online data to react to issues and other concerns that may affect our company's image or profit




- Self-starting team member able to work with minimal supervision to prioritize and meet conflicting deadlines
- Can speak and write English at a University level
- Passionate and curious about Marketing
- Excellent customer service
- Strong detail-orientation, organizational, and time management skills
- Familiarity using WordPress, Shopify, and other CMS
- Familiarity with SEO tools such as Moz, Ahrefs, and SEMrush

Bonus Skills

- Prior experience in corporate marketing and/or communications environment
- Video/Audio editing
- Photo and design skills

- Job Type: Full-time
- Pay Rate: $18 / hour
- Must be able to work in Canada
