Pathfind has partnered with a service organization in Edmonton to seek out their next Director of Finance who excels at cross-functional collaboration to support meaningful impact. As a key member of the leadership team, you will shape financial strategy, enhance operational efficiency, and contribute to business growth. Your insights will be valued across the organization, helping to drive informed decision-making and continuous improvement.

What You Will Be Doing

Financial Strategy & Leadership

- Develop and execute a financial strategy that supports business growth and long-term success.

- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and reporting to enhance performance and growth.

- Identify and lead strategic projects that strengthen both short-term and long-term success.

- Actively participate in leadership meetings, identifying, discussing, and solving the company’s most important challenges and opportunities.

Data-Informed Decision Making

- Build dashboards and reports for clear visibility into key business metrics.

- Provide financial insights that help the leadership team set priorities and achieve key business goals.

- Develop scenario models to guide strategy and risk management.

Operational Accounting & Financial Reporting

- Oversee financial operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.

- Manage the month-end and year-end audit process, ensuring a smooth and well-organized experience.





- Manage the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports, supporting strategic decision-making with transparent financial analysis.

Systems & Process Improvement

- Implement financial systems, automation tools, and processes to streamline operations.

- Work cross-functionally to enhance workflows and optimize operations.

- Lead continuous improvement initiatives that contribute to organizational success.

Who You Are

- CPA, CFA, and/or MBA

- 8+ years of experience in finance, business operations, FP&A;, or a related field.

- Experience overseeing financial reporting, board reporting, and external audits.

- Strong technical accounting and financial analysis skills.

- Experience implementing financial systems and automation tools.

- Proven ability to lead impactful projects and support growth.

- Experience with EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System) is an asset.
