Join our vibrant early childhood education team as an ECE Assistant Level 1, where your enthusiasm and dedication will help create a nurturing, engaging environment for young learners. In this role, you will support lead teachers in implementing educational activities, ensuring the safety and well-being of children, and fostering a positive classroom atmosphere. Your energy and caregiving skills will directly contribute to the developmental growth of children while gaining valuable experience in early childhood education.

Duties

- Assist lead teachers in planning and executing age-appropriate educational activities that promote learning and development.
- Support children with daily routines such as meal times, nap times, and bathroom needs, ensuring a caring and safe setting.
- Engage with children through play, storytelling, and hands-on activities to encourage social, emotional, and cognitive growth.
- Help monitor classroom behavior and promote positive interactions among children.
- Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment by assisting with setup and cleanup of materials and supplies.




- Observe and document children's progress to support individualized learning plans.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure all safety protocols are followed and that the classroom remains a welcoming space for everyone.

Qualifications

- Prior experience working with children in a classroom or caregiving setting is preferred.
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities is a valuable asset.
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and teaching strategies.
- Strong caregiving skills with a compassionate approach to supporting children's needs.
- Ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members.
- Classroom experience demonstrating patience, organization, and enthusiasm for early childhood development.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in childcare or early childhood education are a plus.

Pay: $15.02-$17.00 per hour
