Position: Project Electrician Reports to: Project Manager, Electrical

As an Electrician you will play a key role in contributing to the continued success of Silver Hills Bakery whose mission is to inspire individuals to live a healthy lifestyle. You will be working in a fast-paced and dynamic production work environment and will have the prospect to learn new skills and work in a team setting. In this role, you are responsible for completing the duties listed below as well as other duties as assigned by your manager or their designate.

Detailed Description of duties: Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics to understand equipment layout and control cabinets

Review drawings and panel schedules and provide mark-ups capturing updates and as-built conditions

Read equipment manuals to understand function and operation, and to troubleshoot issues

Install, repair, and test industrial electrical equipment and other related devices





Install and repair electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, lighting fixtures, and other electrical components

Assist in designing, purchasing components, building and commissioning automation control cabinets (PLCs etc.)

Test electrical and electronic equipment for continuity, current, voltage, and resistance

Install, repair, and test switchgear, transformers, load reactors and more

Install, repair, and test electrical motors, industrial batteries, and hydraulic and pneumatic control systems

Build, modify, and install support structures and stands for electrical cabinets, tray, disconnects, etc.

Mount / install electric motors – electrically and mechanically

Other duties as assigned
