We are looking for a highly motivated Hardware Verification Engineer to join our EMC and Environmental Verification Team working on state-of-the-art cellular base station radio equipment products intended for global market deployment. Your primary role would involve planning and execution of verification tests, measurements and documentation covering EMC, Radio Regulatory Compliance and Environmental requirements to support the dynamic and fast-paced radio business. Testing is executed in internal and external high-tech lab environments using both automated and manual methods.
This role will also include ongoing development, support and optimization of the test environment which includes support equipment, radio interface, software and communication links.
Responsibilities:
· Plan, develop and execute internal and regulatory test cases (EMC, ENV,
Radio, Safety)
· Formal documentation of test plans and test results
· Help to maintain and enhance the Hardware Verification Lab environment
· Work in close collaboration with HW and SW Systems, HW and SW Design and verification colleagues to achieve Radio project milestones
· Maintain positive qualified relationships with our external lab partners to enable successful testing
Key Qualifications:
· Education: B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
· Minimum 5 years HW development or verification experience
· Good understanding of 3G, 4G and 5G wireless communications technologies
· Strong knowledge of ETSI, FCC and ISED standards and associated regulatory certification processes for global markets
· Extensive hands on experience in the lab using RF test instruments (Keysight, R&S;, Anritsu)
· Good knowledge of Linux/Unix environment
· Experience with Labview or Java would be an asset
