Strathcona Resources Ltd. is seeking an experienced Operations Specialist for our Lloydminster Thermal Business Unit. Focus on project execution, commissioning, and operational readiness in a dynamic environment. As an Operations Specialist, you will provide technical leadership and operational support.
This role requires a comprehensive understanding of SAGD processes and safety protocols. Your expertise will be critical in mentoring team members and optimizing operational performance. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide daily operational direction to CPF Operations teams
- Act as first-line support for troubleshooting complex process issues
- Promote safety leadership and compliance with HSE standards
- Coordinate operational performance indicators to optimize production
- Mentor and coach Shift Engineers and Operators
Requirements:
- Second- or Third-Class Power Engineering Certificate
- Minimum 7+ years operating experience in SAGD facilities
- Solid knowledge of steam generation and multi-phase pipelines
- Proven troubleshooting abilities and leadership skills
- Valid Class 5 driver's license and clean record
