La position

Imagine shaping the future of microbiological quality control within a global network. As a Senior Expert QC (m/f/d) , you will be the driving force behind evaluating and implementing innovative rapid methods to take the safety of our medicines to the next level. You combine deep technical expertise with strategic project management, ensuring that groundbreaking technologies become the standard worldwide.

You will become part of a unit within Network QC that sets global standards. Here, you will work in a high-caliber environment of specialists who cooperate closely with internal and external partners. Your team is characterized by scientific curiosity and the drive to actively shape the modernization of microbial control concepts.

Your key responsibilities will include:

- Technology Leadership: You evaluate and select alternative microbiological methods and coordinate their global validation and implementation across the entire QC network.

- Strategic Consulting:



As a Subject Matter Expert (SME), you assist in the preparation of dossiers, answer regulatory inquiries, and develop GMP-compliant validation strategies.

- Global Troubleshooting: You provide scientific and technical support for investigations into errors and deviations within the global network.

- Network Shaping: You establish global guidelines for quality control and represent the interests of Roche in international bodies such as the ECA or PDA.

- Knowledge Management: You ensure knowledge transfer through technical reports, publications, and benchmarking.

Who You Are

For this demanding position, you preferably hold a university degree in microbiology or a comparable discipline.

The following qualifications round out your profile:

- Relevant Experience: You have at least 7 years of experience in a microbiological QC laboratory - preferably with 3 years of experience in a global role - , alongside several years of practical experience in the pharmaceutical industry.

- Project Leadership: You have successfully led national and international project groups and possess experience in organizing QA workflows.

- Deep Technical Expertise:



You bring excellent knowledge in microbiology, molecular biology, and biotechnology, as well as in the relevant guidelines (GMP/GCLP/ISO).

- Solid Communication Skills: Your very good English skills enable you to interact confidently on a global level.

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Mississauga is 136,936.00 and 179,728.50 of hiring range. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors as determined by the company.
