Summary: As the Field Service Valve Technician, you will be responsible for traveling to customer sites and servicing, testing, adjusting, trouble-shooting, repairing, maintenance, removal, installation and inspection of safety and relief valves. Factory training and certification will be provided to the successful candidate. Overtime and travel required at short notice.

Qualifications: Must be willing to travel for work when necessary

Mechanical experience necessary/Electrical experience considered an asset

Demonstrate sound judgement with the ability to make decisions and corrections when problems are detected

Able to make accurate and intelligible reports (written and verbal)

Previous experience with measurement devices and test gauges considered an asset

Must possess a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record

Able to assume responsibility and handle multiple tasks under potentially stressful and/or hazardous conditions Excellent organizational and customer relation skills

Must have pride in workmanship

Must be able to obtain Controlled Goods and ISED Security Clearance as a condition of employment

Offshore Certifications would be an asset
