Regina
The Tempore Group is looking for a director of training to lead the development and delivery of emergency and disaster-related training programs to our volunteers and employees. As a non profit organization with a focus on the full cycle of disaster and emergency management, The Tempore Group is engaged in several areas where your skills as an adult educator will be put to the test. You will be responsible for training our event medical team and disaster responders in both basic and advanced first aid, as well as helping to prepare people to write the provincial certification and licensing exam as an Emergency Medical Responder.
As we grow and evolve as a company, this position will expand to oversee additional areas of training. This is a volunteer position at this time, however we are looking to move this into a paid position as soon as possible.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have the following:
- Certification as an Emergency Medical Response Instructor (or equivalent);
- 5+ Years of experience as a First Responder,
Emergency Medical Responder, or Paramedic;
- Experience with teaching volunteers and people of various backgrounds;
- A willingness to work with The Tempore Group management to develop new courses and enhance course content;
- A desire to support a new non profit company as it grows and matures;
- Experience performing quality assurance and corrective training.
Benefits
The biggest benefit is that you get to be part of a new organization from the ground up! You can help us grow in the right direction and really make your mark on the future of new non profit. We're working on the whole list of advantages, but we'll provide the training equipment and space for you to run our courses, and possibly your own courses. We'll also give you opportunities to expand your knowledge and experience and build a portfolio of courses with your name on it.
