Forklift Technician – (Windsor, ON)

Location: Windsor, ON

Type: Full-Time

Shift: Day / Evening

Pay Rate: $25/hour

Summary:

Maintain, inspect, and repair forklifts to ensure safe and effective warehouse operations. Key Duties:

- Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, battery servicing, tire checks, and lubrication

- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults using tools and service manuals
- Repair or replace defective components including brakes, motors, forks, and control systems
- Conduct regular safety inspections to ensure equipment meets workplace standards

- Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns to minimize operational downtime
- Maintain accurate service logs, inspection reports, and repair records

Requirements:





- Experience in forklift or heavy equipment repair

- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, and basic electrical components
- Ability to troubleshoot issues and use diagnostic tools effectively
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail

- Ability to work independently and manage workload efficiently
- Valid driver’s license; technical certification is an asset

Work Environment:

- Industrial or warehouse setting

- Requires physical work such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
