Position: Front End Web Developer

Location: Ottawa, Ontario Canada.

Duration: 6 Months +

for Front End Web Developer:

The person we're looking for will:

- Develop websites ensuring strong optimization and functionality
- Monitor site technical performance
- Work on projects including web layout enhancements, desktop applications, website enhancements, web-based applications, and database-driven websites
- Develop web pages utilizing CSS3 and HTML5 and programming languages including JavaScript and PHP
- Interact with servers using SSH
- Work in a variety of development frameworks including: Wordpress, Drupal, ExpressionEngine, CodeIgniter.





Skills we’d like to see:

- Excellent understanding of major operating systems
- Experience working in OS X
- At least a 2 year degree/diploma in a computer-related field (computer science/programming)
- Strong Knowledge of common programming languages including PHP and Python
- In depth knowledge of JavaScript, CSS, HTML
- Experience with Expression Engine / Wordpress / Drupal development and available add-ons and plug-ins
- Excellent MySQL database knowledge
