This role requires strategic legal advice and insights into administrative justice, legislation modernization, and tribunal governance. You will focus on policy alignment, risk assessment, and advocacy for procedural fairness and public interest throughout Alberta's justice system. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic legal advice on administrative tribunal governance
- Lead legislative initiatives for modernization and compliance
- Analyze legal issues for alignment with constitutional requirements
- Identify and assess complex legal and policy risks
- Advise leaders on significant administrative justice matters
Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (JD) or Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree
- 11+ years of relevant experience in public or administrative law
- Membership in good standing with Law Society of Alberta
- Proven skills in legal research and strategic advisory
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills
