John Ross & Sons Ltd. specializes in purchasing and processing all ferrous and non-ferrous scrap metals, along with accepting a wide range of recyclable material to process.
We are seeking energetic and safety-minded General Laborer to join our night shift team at our Goodwood, Nova Scotia location. This hands-on role involves sorting, organizing, and maintaining inventory while supporting safe and productive operations.

Primary Responsibilities and Duties
- Sort and handle various materials accurately and efficiently
- Maintain and organize inventory
- Keep work areas clean, safe, and organized
- Work effectively in both team-based and independent settings
- Perform duties in all weather conditions as required
Qualifications and Skills
- Previous experience in heavy lifting general labor an asset
- Must be able to lift 50lbs consistently
- Must be comfortable wearing full PPE while on shift
- Safety driven mindset
- Clear communication skills
- Comfortable working in all weather conditions
Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 4:30 PM - 3:00 AM and Saturdays as needed 12:00 PM - 5:00 PM
Location: Goodwood, Nova Scotia (reliable transportation required; not accessible by public transit)
