Responsibilities:

- Shape and smooth glass edges using appropriate tools and techniques.

- Installation:

- Install glass in windows, doors, skylights, and other structures.
- Ensure proper fitting and alignment of glass to meet design and safety standards.

- Sealing and Insulation:

- Apply sealants and insulation materials to secure glass in place and enhance energy efficiency.

- Repair and Replacement:

- Assess damaged or broken glass and determine repair or replacement needs.
- Execute glass repairs or replacements with attention to detail and quality craftsmanship.

- Safety Compliance:

- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines during all phases of glass installation.
- Utilize appropriate safety equipment and practices to minimize risks.

- Communication:





- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other team members to understand project requirements.
- Provide input on glass selection and design considerations.

Qualifications:

- Stamina to work on ladders or scaffolding as needed.

Education:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Additional training or certifications in glass installation is a plus.

Work Environment:

- Work on construction sites, residential and commercial buildings.
