The Pikangikum Education Authority is seeking a motivated individual to work as a Full Time Gr. 2 Classroom Teacher at Eenchokay Birchstick School for the remainder of the 2025-2026 School Year.

Teacher's Responsibilities:

- Be responsible for the effective instruction and evaluation of student achievement.
- Be responsible for the effective management of all students.
- Demonstrate an ability to differentiate academic instruction.
- An ability to create an interesting and engaging classroom environment for all students.
- A strong desire to meet and work with young people inside and outside of school.

Qualifications & Skills:

- To be a member in valuable standing with the Ontario College of Teachers (OCT) or be eligible for membership.
- Speaking of the Ojibway language an asset but not essential.




- Excellent technology skills. Knowledge of Indigenous Culture an asset.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work positively with other staff members

Salary Range: $66,703.14 - $121,527.27 as per the Pikangikum Education Authority's Salary Scale.Closing Date for Applications: Open until filled.
