Job Title: Guidewire Developer

We are seeking a talented and experienced Guidewire Developer to join our team. As a Guidewire Developer, you will play a crucial role in the design, development, and implementation of Guidewire applications. This is a remote position based in Canada.

Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with business analysts, product owners, and other stakeholders to gather and understand requirements.
- Design and implement Guidewire solutions based on business needs.
- Customize and configure Guidewire applications to meet specific project requirements.
- Develop and maintain integrations with other systems and third-party applications.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in the Guidewire applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.




- Stay updated on Guidewire platform updates and best practices.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

- Proven experience as a Guidewire Developer, with expertise in Guidewire PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, or BillingCenter.
- Robust knowledge of Java and object-oriented programming.
- Experience with Gosu programming language is a plus.
- Familiarity with insurance industry processes and practices.
- Experience in designing and implementing Guidewire integrations.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Guidewire certification is desirable.
