We are seeking a skilled Excavator Operator to join our team. We are looking for The successful candidate will be responsible for operating in a protected and efficient manner. We are loading a soil trommel screening unit, clearing and grubbing and stockpiling soil.
Responsibilities
- Operate excavator, day and possible night shift min 10 hours per day 5-6 days a week.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Follow safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and others on site.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure project timelines are met.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and maintenance activities.
- Load, move, sort, pile, bulk excavations and conduct pre-operational equipment checklist.
Skills
- Proficient in operating excavator
- Excellent communication skills to work collaboratively with team members.
- Minimum 5 years experience operating heavy equipment (e.g. Excavator/Dozer/Rock Truck/Loader
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence
