Role Responsibilities:
- Perform routine cleaning tasks in designated areas.
- Dust, sanitize, and polish furniture and fixtures.
- Vacuum carpets and mop floors to maintain cleanliness.
- Change bed linens and replace towels as required.
- Restock supplies in guest rooms and common areas.
- Inspect rooms and report any maintenance issues.
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is properly maintained.
- Follow health and safety protocols during cleaning tasks.
- Assist with deep cleaning projects as assigned.
- Provide exceptional service to guests and respond to requests.
- Manage time efficiently to complete daily cleaning schedules.
- Work collaboratively with team members for efficient operations.
- Maintain confidentiality and respect guest privacy.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Participate in training and development programs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in housekeeping or cleaning services preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organization skills.
- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic knowledge of cleaning products and equipment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy items and perform repetitive tasks.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Customer-focused mindset with a positive attitude.
- Capability to handle stressful situations calmly.
- Basic problem-solving abilities.
- Willingness to undergo background checks if required.
- Valid work authorization in Canada.
