The HSE Advisor is responsible for both field-based safety support and administrative coordination to help ensure a safe, compliant, and efficient work workplace.

The successful candidate will work closely with employees, contractors, supervisors, and management to promote a strong safety culture while supporting regulatory compliance, training programs, incident investigations, document control,



and HSE reporting.

This role is ideal for an individual who enjoys balancing time between the field and office and is passionate about creating positive safety outcomes.

Requirements

Desired Skills, Qualifications and Competencies include:

Key Requirements

- Diploma, Certificate, or Degree in Occupational Health and Safety or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of health and safety experience in industrial, construction, manufacturing, mining, energy, or data center environments.
- Knowledge of WorkSafe BC regulations and occupational health and safety legislation.
- Strong organizational, administrative, and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License.

Preferred Qualifications

- NCSO designation or working toward certification.
- Occupational First Aid certification.
- Incident investigation training.
- Experience with contractor management programs.
- Experience using SiteDocs or similar HSE management systems.
- Experience supporting large industrial, construction, or critical infrastructure projects.
