- Assess potential institutional, business or individual client markets

- Calculate premiums

- Establish client insurance coverage

- Establish method of payment

- Identify potential markets

- Ensure appropriate forms, medical examinations and other policy requirements are completed

- Monitor insurance claims and respond to clients'

enquiries

- Provide customer service

- Provide information concerning group and individual insurance packages, the range of risk coverage, benefits paid and other policy features

- Sell automobile, fire, health, life, property,

marine, aircraft and other types of insurance

- Respond to requests for help and information from Website visitors and Website designers

- Lead and co-ordinate multidisciplinary teams to develop Website graphics,

content, capacity and interactivity

- Develop and implement marketing strategies

- ​Conduct online marketing, E-commerce and Website promotions

Requirements

- Must have a Bachelor’s degree in any field.

- Must have 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in the same or a related field.

- Must have Registered Insurance Brokers of Ontario

(RIBO) license.





- Must be bondable and able to successfully pass a driving record check (abstract),

credit check, and criminal record check.

- Must be willing to work in an office building setup.

- Must be willing to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced setting and under pressure, with strong attention to detail, and be able to perform work involving sitting as well as a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.

- Must demonstrate strong personal suitability including client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication, flexibility,

sound judgment, strong organizational skills, reliability, and the ability to work as a team player.

- Must be able to communicate in English.

- Must have access to own tools and equipment, including a computer, printer, internet access, and a cellular phone.

- Must have access to a personal vehicle and a valid driver’s license. Willingness to travel is required.
