Job Overview:
The Inventory Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the store’s receiving department, ensuring product is properly loaded/unloaded, inspected, received, and put away.
Responsibilities: Receiving Maintain the organization and layout of the warehouse on a daily basis. Plan and coordinate the receipt of shipments. Collaborate with store management/supervisor team to strategize product placements.
Resolve customer issues promptly to ensure satisfaction. Coordinate with store management/supervisor team to optimize product flow onto the sales floor. Execute promotional activities as directed by store management team, aiming to meet or exceed departmental objectives.
Ensure cleanliness and organization of the warehouse area before shifts end and oversee shift transitions. Oversee replenishment processes, including managing product shortages, surplus, sales opportunities, and seasonal changes.
Leadership
Train team members on required procedures and techniques. Provide direction to staff involved in receiving or finding products in the warehouse and getting them onto the sales floor. Supervise work according to established priorities and company standards.
Offer input to the store management team for team members' performance evaluations and ensure follow-up.
