Investment Advisor Assistant

Full Time

Location: Oshawa, Ontario Area

Onsite: Monday to Friday

$50K +

Great opportunity in the investment / insurance field!

Successful Wealth Management practice looking to hire a full time Advisor Assistant.

Must be valuable on the phone to talk with clients and help address any issues, and set up calls with their Financial Advisor.

Key Responsibilities:

-Scheduling and confirming of client meetings

-Preparation of materials and financial reports for client meetings

-Completion of meeting follow-up activities

-Trade execution & reviewing daily trades

-Handling client account administration, including client queries and requests

-Responsible for preparing/processing documentation and account transactions

-Responsible for ensuring all databases are updated and maintained

-Responsible for client mailings/communication





-General office administrative duties as assigned

-completion of the CSC (or enrollment would be a great asset) Canadian Securities Courses

Qualifications:

-University Degree or College Diploma (Business or Economics an asset, but not a requirement)

-Candidates who have completed the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) preferred

-Strong attention to detail with the ability to multi-task and show initiative

-Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, as well as strong time management and the ability to prioritize effectively

- Must exemplify a positive attitude while working in a team environment

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: competitive TBD on experience
