Our client, a well-established independent wealth management practice based in Oakville, is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Investment Advisor Associate to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a licensed investment professional to work alongside a seasoned advisor, supporting the delivery of personalized financial strategies and exceptional client service to a high-net-worth clientele.

The ideal candidate is fully IIROC licensed and brings strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills. This role offers significant potential for long-term growth opportunities within a boutique advisory environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide day-to-day support to the lead Investment Advisor in servicing a book of high-net-worth clients

- Execute trades and assist with portfolio monitoring in accordance with IIROC guidelines

- Prepare customized investment proposals, client reviews, and financial planning documentation

- Manage all aspects of client onboarding, including KYC and compliance documentation

- Respond to client inquiries and requests with a high level of professionalism and care

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and notes using CRM tools





- Liaise with internal teams and back-office support to ensure seamless operations

- Support business development initiatives and client engagement efforts

Qualifications

- Must be fully IIROC licensed (CSC and CPH completed)

- 2+ years of experience in investment advisory, client service, or a similar financial services role

- Strong knowledge of investment products, portfolio construction, and compliance requirements

- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills

- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities

- Experience with CRM systems and back-office platforms (e.g., Dataphile, Univeris) is an asset

- Additional designations (e.g., CFA Level 1, CFP) or enrollment in WME are considered strong assets
