The IT Developer is responsible for developing reports to provide easy access data to Operations and Finance leaders in order to assist in the analysis of the business.

Reporting Relationships: The IT Developer reports directly to the IT Manager, Noranco Canada.

Primary Duties &

Responsibilities: Create complex SQL queries and storedprocedures for new SSRS based reports.Develop professional SSRS reports tosupport business needs using Microsoft SQL server and/or Crystal reportsCreate SSIS packages to extract anddeliver data to end users.Optimize existing SQL queries and SSRSreports.Collaborate with Systems Administrator toenforce best practices for SQL environment.Create and/or maintain data warehouse.Maintain dashboards created by vendorsand/or develop new dashboards based on VB and .NET technology.Work with management team to gatherbusiness requirement and develop solution.Analyze and troubleshoot complex queries,views or stored procedures.Convert access queries and/or crystalreports to SSRS reports.Able to take on development projects asbusiness requires.All other duties as assigned Required Skills:Solid understanding of SQL server 2008R2, 2012 and 2014.Strong background with T-SQL queries,functions, triggers, views and stored procedures.Familiar with SSRS and SSIS deployment andmanagement.Excellent analytical and problem solvingskills..NET and VB development.Experience with web development,specifically web-based dashboard development, would be preferred.
