We are currently seeking applicants for a Journeyman Heavy Duty Mechanic w/CVIP Licence and 2nd, 3rd and 4th Year Heavy Duty Mechanics position to assist our client. We welcome you to submit your application, if you are interested.

Key Responsibilities:

- Diagnose all systems including engine, fuel, electrical, driveline and hydraulic systems on all makes/models of tractor-trailers and mounted equipment

- Conduct repairs and preventative maintenance on ALL makes/models of tractor-trailers and mounted equipment

- Complete all necessary paperwork accurately

- Perform CVIP Inspections, listing repairs and parts required

- Non related CVIP repairs

- Takes ownership of their jobs

- Conduct regular maintenance on heavy equipment to ensure optimal performance

- Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance activities

Required Qualifications:

- Certified Red Seal Journeyman Heavy Duty On-Road/Off-Road/Oilfield Mechanic





- Dealership experience an asset, Cummins, CAT, Detroit, Paccar, IHC, Mercedes

- Class 1 driver’s license would be considered an asset but not required

- CVIP Certified

- Demonstrate high attention to detail and accuracy of all work orders, reports, etc.

- Positive approach to fix right the first time, true team player, NO bad habits

- Clean driver’s abstract

- Reliable and committed to delivering quality performance everyday

- Robust communication and organisational skills

- Willing and able to work overtime when asked

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

- Weekends as needed

Licence/Certification:

- Journeyman HD Mechanic or Apprenticeship Trade Licence (required)
