WSP's Mining & Metals team is seeking a Team Lead to lead and grow a team of professionals specializing in mine water management .

In this role, you will combine people leadership, strategic vision, and technical contribution to support the sustainable growth of the team, talent development, and the successful delivery of high-quality projects for our clients. You will work closely with managers, technical leaders, and multidisciplinary teams to support the execution of complex mandates involving water management, mining infrastructure, mine waste facilities, and environmental projects. Lead and develop a team of 5 to 10 professionals specializing in mine water management

- Support team members in their professional development and conduct performance feedback and review cycles
- Resource Management and Operational Performance Contribute to achieving performance, quality, and profitability objectives for the practice.

Project Contribution

Contribute to projects as an engineer, technical professional, project manager, or project director

- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams specializing in water management, mine waste, geotechnical engineering, environmental services, and infrastructure
- Participate in the continuous improvement of internal practices, processes, and standards
- Contribute to the strategic direction and growth of the mine water management practice. Significant experience as an engineer,



project manager, or people manager within the mining sector, water management, or a related engineering field.

Experience collaborating on complex projects involving multiple technical disciplines. Excellent communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills. Ability to balance leadership responsibilities, operational management, and technical contributions.

Proficiency in French. Bilingualism (French and English) is considered an asset, as you will communicate with colleagues across Canada. Knowledge of regulations and industry best practices related to mine water management in Quebec and Canada is considered a strong asset.

NB, NL, NS, PE & QC: $128,666 - $176,420 The final salary offered for this position may vary from the range indicated above based on several factors, including relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, level of responsibility, geographic location,
