In this role, you’ll lead complex energy projects from concept through detailed engineering, working in a client-facing capacity and collaborating across disciplines to deliver high-quality outcomes.

Based in one of our Canadian offices (with preference for Calgary, or Edmonton), you’ll contribute to impactful work that advances sustainable energy solutions and meets evolving industry demands. Lead the planning, scheduling, and estimation of engineering design activities, guiding projects from initial concept through to the issuance of construction-ready drawings and specifications Drive project success by developing strategies that identify key risks early and ensure delivery against quality, schedule, and cost objectives Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams, providing technical direction and ensuring alignment across all project deliverables Interpret project scope and specifications, ensuring designs meet technical requirements, regulatory standards, and WSP engineering best practices Oversee and approve engineering designs, maintaining quality assurance and ensuring consistency with project goals and company standards Act as the primary technical interface with clients, providing expert guidance and recommendations on complex engineering challenges Support project execution through cost estimating, risk assessment, change management, and the preparation of engineering control documentation Mentor and coach engineers, fostering technical growth, supporting professional development, and strengthening overall team capability Post-Graduate in Engineering





- At least 10 to 15 years of previous experience in an EPCM environment in the energy industry with 7-10 years direct project engineering experience specifically in Natural Gas transmission and compression projects
- At least 2 years experience as a technical Project Lead dealing directly with clients and other project stakeholders;

Experience creating mechanical drawings (PFDs, P&IDs;, Isometrics), line designation tables, Shutdown Key and Control Narratives.

Experience with Risk Management and Management of Change;

Experience directly dealing with clients coordinating meetings, creating project status reports and dealing with different groups, stakeholders and disciplines

- Proven ability to produce high quality work while facing competing priorities and strict deadlines
- Proven independent project leader
- Demonstrated skills on concept and developed design optimization programs to guide sound technical guidance for decision making
- Knows, understands, and complies with all client and corporate procedures

$111,000 - $147,400 The final salary awarded for this role may vary from the above range based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
