About the role
We are looking for a Logistics Coordinator who will be responsible for managing and coordinating the transportation, and distribution of goods to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery. The role involves monitoring shipments, communicating with internal stakeholders and carriers, maintaining inventory records, and resolving logistics issues to support smooth business operations.
Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, you will:
- Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations.
- Schedule and track shipments from suppliers to customers.
- Communicate with transport companies, vendors, and internal departments.
- Prepare shipping documents, invoices, and customs paperwork when required.
- Resolve delivery delays, shipment discrepancies, and customer complaints.
- Maintain accurate logistics records and databases (ERP system).
- Negotiate shipping rates and services with carriers when necessary.
Qualifications
- 1-3 years experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain coordination preferred.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with logistics management software and ERP systems.
- Knowledge of inventory management and transportation regulations.
- Mandatory proficiency in both French and English.
