Responsibilities

- Direct traffic at or near construction sites

- Perform routine maintenance work
- A valid forklift and Occupational First Aid Level One certificates are assets.

- Must be trained and have experience on the following equipment: Forklifts, zoom booms, scissor lifts, and bobcat.

- Must have knowledge of Work Safe BC Regulations.

- Previous experience within an Equipment Operator capacity is required.

- Must have considerable applicable equipment operation experience or an equivalent combination of training and experience.

- Must have a demonstrated ability to operate all equipment safely and effectively.

Other duties as required
- Load, unload and transport construction materials

- Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks shoring and barricades

- Mix, pour and spread materials

- Assist in framing, and erecting walls

- Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites

Experience.





A minimum of 2 years of experience in the construction industry is required.

- BC Driver’s license

- Authorization to work in Canada

Full-time position with an 8-hour shift.

Workdays from Monday to Friday, with the possibility of overtime and weekend work as project demands dictate.

Working Conditions

- Working at heights

- Exposure to cold/hot weather. Appropriate dress required for weather conditions

- Exposure to noise, dust, pollution

- Exposure to hazards such as heights, power tools, slips, falls, falling objects, sharp hand tools

- Ability to stand, crouch and kneel for long periods of time

- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
