General Maintenance

Full-Time General Maintenance Position for Busy Multi-Specialist Clinic, located in Burlington, NC.

Clinic is a multi-specialty practice with more than 70 providers located just off I-40/I-85. Burlington is accessible as a day trip to NC Mountains and beaches. Ample recreational activities, shopping, and easy access to metros (Greensboro, Raleigh and Durham) are unique to Burlington.

We are currently seeking an individual for our Maintenance department. This position would be located at both Burlington and new Mebane Kernodle Clinic locations. Must have reliable transportation for travel between both clinics when needed. General experience preferred with basic electrical, basic plumbing, painting and other small construction related tasks. Must be able to lift >50lbs. Schedule for position would be Monday thru Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Duties Include, but not limited to the following:

- Assists in maintaining all Clinic (Burlington, Elon, and Mebane) facilities in a sanitary, clean, and attractive condition. Paint if appropriate. Ensure there is proper lighting. Hang items on wall if needed. Change ceiling tiles.

- Open buildings when needed. Make sure lights are on, no burned-out lights and no water leaks.

- Promptly and courteously assists patients in and out of the building as necessary.

- Perform snow and ice removal on sidewalks when appropriate.

- Ensures electrical and mechanical systems are performing. Coordinates repairs as necessary. Change air condition filters and ensure that air condition problems are addressed that arise. Address general plumbing issues.

- Performs preventative maintenance as necessary. Pick up supplies needed for repairs and maintenance.
