- 10+ years in heavy industrial or manufacturing operations.
- Engineering Degree.
- 7+ years leadership experience managing multi-disciplinary maintenance teams
- Must be familiar with heavy rotating equipment in a continuous manufacturing setting
- Must have previous knowledge of bearings, bearing mounting and lubrication system
- Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Knowledge of papermaking and stock preparation equipment and processes.
- Familiar with common safety practices in the industrial field, such as lockouts, confined space entry, WHMIS, etc.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Very valuable interpersonal skills, problem solving skills, and leadership abilities
