Description The Maintenance Technician is a member of the Operations department and reports directly to the Maintenance Supervisor. This position is responsible for the safe operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of critical mechanical systems supporting data center infrastructure. The role is essential to maintaining uptime, reliability, and efficiency of cooling and backup power systems, while adhering to all safety policies and procedures.

Requirements

Desired Skills, Qualifications and Competencies include:

- Proficient in MS Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook with the ability to navigate the internet and utilize electronic timecards
- Be self-motivated, reliable, flexible & proactive with an ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Availability to work various schedules and hours including evenings, weekends, and possibly nightshifts




- Ability to work in a variety of indoor and outdoor industrial settings; including adverse weather conditions and at heights
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects and work in challenging conditions
- Solid problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Solid written and oral communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with leadership and colleagues
- High energy and confident individual with demonstrated organization, prioritization and critical thinking skills as well as proven active listening skills

Other Important Requirements:

- A clear Criminal Record Check is required
- Must provide own steel toed work boots, all other PPE supplied
- Must be able to reliably commute to the operations site daily or have plans to relocate before starting work
