About the Opportunity - Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, ensuring accurate, complete, and timely financial reporting.

- Prepare and review financial statements, management reports, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules in accordance with applicable accounting standards and corporate policies.
- Review and approve journal entries, complex accounting transactions, and adjustments while ensuring all financial data is accurately recorded and properly supported.
- Analyze financial results, investigate significant variances, and provide actionable insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Oversee fixed asset accounting, depreciation, capital project accounting, and intercompany transactions and reconciliations.
- Maintain strong internal controls, ensure monthly balance sheet reconciliations, and support compliance with accounting standards, tax requirements, and regulatory obligations.




- Coordinate internal and external audit activities, including documentation requests, audit findings, and implementation of corrective actions.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, cash flow forecasting, working capital management, treasury activities, and financial performance monitoring.
- Develop financial models, reporting tools, and analytical insights to support strategic initiatives, operational decision-making, and business performance improvement.
- Drive continuous improvement of accounting processes, ERP systems, financial reporting, automation, and data integrity while providing technical accounting guidance and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

About

You - Chartered Qualified Accountant designation (CPA or CA).

- 5-7years minimumof progressive accounting experience.
- Supervisory experience is highly preferred.
- Manufacturing industry experience is highly preferred.

Salary Range $130,000 - $145,000/year You must currently reside within the Greater Edmonton Area and be permitted to work in Canada to be considered for this opportunity. A recruiter will be in touch with you if your profile meets our client’s requirements for this role.
