Laboratory Scientists conduct complex tests and analyses to provide critical information for patient diagnosis and treatment. They also oversee laboratory operations and mentor MLTs.

Key

Responsibilities:

- Perform advanced laboratory tests and analyses on biological specimens.

- Ensure the accuracy and reliability of test results.

- Develop and validate current testing methods.

- Maintain laboratory quality control and compliance with regulations.

- Train and supervise laboratory personnel.

- Collaborate with healthcare providers to discuss findings and implications.





Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science or related field.

- Certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist (e.g., ASCP, CSMLS).

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Excellent communication skills.
