Midland Transport Limited is currently seeking professional Class 1 Michelin Team Truck Driver. The Drivers/team can be based out of any major city in the Maritimes including, but not limited to Fredericton, Moncton, Halifax, Saint John and Charlottetown.

The selected candidate will be a reliable person with a strong work ethic, positive attitude and solid commitment to providing Superior Quality Service.

Responsibilities

- Running Linehaul from Maritimes to South Carolina - 2 trips each run and 3 days off between runs.
- Deliver freight to assigned locations ensuring timely delivery.
- Offload variable shipment weight and handle freight equipment properly and in a safe manner to avoid any damage.




- Communicate efficiently with the central dispatch and customers.
- Operate tractor trailer in accordance with the safety regulation: company rules while following safety procedures and traffic laws.
- Perform pre-trip, en-route and post-trip inspections and oversee all aspects of the truck operation.
- Report any incident, accident, injury or damage in a timely manner.

Qualifications

- Class 1 driver’s license with a minimum of 4 years of safe, commercial tractor-trailer driving experience.
- Clean driver’s abstract and criminal search.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.
- Eligibility to receive a FAST card.
- Eligibility to cross the border with US.
- Familiarity with satellite systems.
- Excellent communication skills, work ethic and reliability.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs. using the proper equipment.
- Safety conscious.
- Must have flexibility to work various shifts: Days, Evenings, Nights, Weekends.
