A position is open at the Smith School of Business at our Toronto facility to teach Experiential Learning Foundations in the Full-Time Master of Management Analytics (FTMMA) program as part of the Internship Program. The successful applicant will be required to teach 100% of one (1) section of Experiential Learning Foundations, with an anticipated enrollment of approximately 50 students. The course will be delivered in person at the Toronto facility, beginning in the Fall 2026 term and continuing through the academic cycle of the program, with several concluding sessions extending into late Fall 2027.

The course is described as follows:

The MMA 900 course is a practice-based, professionally oriented experiential learning course focused on preparing students for internship and career placement within analytics, AI, and related business domains. The course emphasizes applied learning, industry engagement, professional skill development, and career preparation within contemporary analytics-driven organizations. It is intentionally designed to reflect the pace, expectations, and applied nature of analytics practice, with instruction grounded in current industry experience and practitioner-led perspectives.

Through hands-on workshops, applied industry projects, simulations, and intensive use of contemporary analytics, AI, and business technology platforms, students develop practical capabilities directly aligned with current industry practice and employer expectations in analytics-driven organizations. The course incorporates state-of-the-art software solutions,



AI-enabled business applications, and team-oriented platforms commonly used in professional analytics and consulting environments. A central focus of the course is preparing students through experiential learning activities that closely mirror professional practice.

Instruction is highly applied and immersive.

Compensation The salary for a term adjunct teaching one section of a course is $13,856 (excluding vacation pay). This salary is pro-rated based on course credit.

Qualifications include a master’s degree or PhD in management analytics, together with significant and recent industry experience in analytics, AI, or data-driven business environments. The instructional format is highly interactive and application-oriented, with substantial emphasis on student engagement, experiential exercises, and industry-relevant preparation activities throughout the program cycle. The ideal candidate will bring substantial practitioner experience applying analytics and AI solutions in organizational settings, with demonstrated familiarity with contemporary industry tools, platforms, workflows, and implementation practices.

Recent experience leading analytics initiatives, managing cross-functional projects, advising teams, or working in client-facing or business-oriented environments is required. Candidates with experience mentoring early-career professionals, supporting internship and career development programs within their organizations, and delivering applied, practitioner-oriented instruction are strongly encouraged to apply.
