For some a good day of skiing is not of the downhill variety but of the Nordic type.

The Nordic Centre

Supervisor will provide exceptional guest experiences for those wanting to enjoy the many km’s of trails provided at Panorama Mountain Village. You will create a positive atmosphere by welcoming all guests with a friendly smile and assist them with information on the Nordic trails, products and services offered & company events around the village.

Essential Functions: Train Nordic Assistant on POS systems, cash out procedures and other duties as required

Ensure all Trail signage is visible, up to date and in positive repair

Fencing and control of specific areas that are potentially a safety hazard.

Conduct trail maintenance as required (e.g. fallen trees, creeks, bridges etc.)

Single track setting with snowmobile

Daily Nordic ski reporting

Ensure cleaning & security of the Nordic Centre and the waxing area.





Collect trail fees as required

Implement and enforce a ticketing validation program

Provide assistance and advice on rental equipment.

Implement a First aid plan with the assistance of ski patrol

Work with the mountain operations grooming manager to create a grooming schedule to ensure all trails are in the best condition possible.

Work cooperatively with all departments

Communication with guest services, front desk to get accurate information to the guest.

Daily cashouts

Create Nordic programs (e.g.

Nordic

Ski lessons) to drive business Experience/Requirements High school or equivalent 1-2 years Supervisory experience

Must be able to Nordic Ski at an advanced level

Ski Retail experience an asset

Previous Nordic experience an asset
