- Lead the safe and compliant operation of a large-scale thermal power facility
- Serve as Chief Power Engineer and provide operational oversight for plant performance
- Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to maximize reliability and availability
- Develop and implement operational procedures, standards, and best practices
- Lead safety initiatives, incident investigations, and risk mitigation activities
- Manage operator training and regulatory compliance programs
- Develop and execute business plans, budgets, and operational strategies
- Mentor supervisors and build a high-performing, accountable team culture

- Hold a First Class Power Engineer Certificate of Competency
- Bring 10+ years of experience in power generation, cogeneration, or large industrial operations
- Demonstrate progressive leadership experience managing operations teams
- Possess robust knowledge of power plant operations, equipment, and regulatory requirements
- Have experience leading plant outages, reliability initiatives, and operational improvements
- Demonstrate strong safety leadership and risk management capabilities
- Apply sound financial acumen in budgeting and business planning
- Communicate effectively with technical, operational, and executive stakeholders
