Role Description As the Owner of Delta Controls, this full-time, in office role in Vancouver, BC involves providing strategic leadership and direction for the organization. The Owner oversees business operations, sets long-term goals, and ensures that product innovation, quality, and customer satisfaction remain central to the company’s mission. Daily responsibilities include managing senior leadership, reviewing financial performance, approving major investments, and guiding R&D; priorities in alignment with market demands.

The role also includes building and maintaining relationships with key partners and distributors, representing the company in industry forums, and ensuring compliance with ISO and other relevant standards. The Owner fosters a collaborative, inclusive culture that supports global growth and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

- Strong leadership and executive management skills, with experience overseeing cross-functional teams and complex global operations.
- Background in building automation, controls, or related technology fields,



with a solid understanding of open-protocol systems such as BACnet.
- Proven strategic planning, business development, and financial management capabilities, including budgeting and long-term growth planning.
- Experience with product lifecycle management, R&D; oversight, and quality assurance frameworks (ISO or similar standards).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills for working with distributors, partners, customers, and industry bodies.
- Demonstrated ability to drive innovation, support energy-efficient solutions, and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent combination of experience and education.
- Prior ownership, C-level, or senior executive experience in a technology or manufacturing organization is highly beneficial.
