Take your expertise to DESC as a Privacy and Security Officer, where you will ensure compliance and security in a rewarding healthcare workplace. Leverage your knowledge to protect client information and lead privacy initiatives. As a key member of DESC's Quality & Information Management team, you will oversee HIPAA compliance and serve as a subject matter expert in information security.

Your technical and analytical skills will be essential in developing policies and providing training. You will also supervise Health Information Management staff and ensure adherence to regulations. Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2 compliance
- Serve as the HIPAA Privacy and Security Officer
- Supervise Health Information Management Technician
- Create and update compliance policies and procedures
- Coordinate privacy training programs for staff

Requirements:

- 5 years of experience in non-profit or healthcare settings
- 3-5 years in regulatory or compliance roles
- Strong communication skills with diverse teams
- Experience with sensitive client information management
- Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines
