Role: Project Manager - Infrastructure - L2

Location: Dunsmuir, British Columbia (Hybrid – 2–3 days/week in office)

Travel: Up to 10 site visits per year across BC (primarily Lower Mainland)

Duration: 2026/07/06 - 2027/07/03

Max T4 Rate: $74.97

Max INC Rate: $88.46

General Description

The Project Manager – Infrastructure Level 2 is responsible for the successful completion of medium to high risk and highly complex infrastructure or other construction projects by leading cross-functional, multi-disciplinary teams through project activities so that projects are successfully completed safely, with quality, within budget, and on time.

Work Assignment – EV Site Development

The Project Manager (PM), Electric Vehicle (EV) Site Development role will lead the site/customer identification, commercial agreement/negotiation, and site layout/preliminary design stages of EV public charging network deployment projects.

The successful candidate will

- Effectively consider project objectives and the site selection framework and associated trade-offs during EV fast charger site selection.
- Apply experience and sound knowledge of electrical infrastructure design, project management principles, and strong business acumen.
- Demonstrate a proven track record of interpersonal and negotiation skills and work independently or through relationship leads (e.g., Key Account Management, Community Relations) to secure sites for hosting charging stations.
- Liaise and negotiate with property owners to secure land leases/licenses.
- Coordinate with internal legal and property departments on the development of land tenure agreements.
- Run project update meetings to ensure timely execution of the project identification phase.
- Conduct site host consultation and engagement to solicit project support.
- Attend Council or other external meetings and present and/or respond to questions as required.

Experience & Role Accountabilities

- Minimum nine (9)



years of project management experience or equivalent.
- Plan, direct, and report on infrastructure and construction project activities by monitoring project advantages, resources, and status and preparing documentation including:
- Project plans
- Action logs
- Communication plans
- Status reports
- Post-implementation reviews

- Develop project plans and risk management plans for medium to high risk and highly complex infrastructure or construction projects with capital costs generally up to $50 million.
- Manage multiple activities including:

- Quality assurance
- Engineering
- First Nations and stakeholder engagement
- Communications
- Regulatory approvals
- Procurement
- Planning and controls
- Construction management
- Pre-commissioning
- Employee relations
- Safety

- Complete project management activities including scoping, planning, managing, monitoring, and reporting using advanced Microsoft Office and project management tools.
- Maintain meaningful relationships with customers, engineers, and field crews through strong communication and presentation skills.
- Establish implementation and monitoring standards through analytical capability and project management best practices.

Education & Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Economics, or related discipline
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering considered an asset
- Project Management Professional (PMP®) designation preferred

Technical Skills

- Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project)
- Advanced written and spoken English for a professional environment

- Commercial negotiations and land agreements
- Stakeholder and community engagement
- Property acquisition / site development experience

Terms & Conditions

- Hybrid work arrangement (2–3 days/week at Dunsmuir office)
