- Develop strategic sourcing strategies for ingredients aligned with cost, quality, and supply continuity goals to attain ingredients required for business production needs.
- Strong negotiation skills for contracts and pricing, especially for commodities and specialty ingredients affected by seasonality or global markets.
- Manage all raw material purchasing functions, including cutting PO, verification of orders, tracking shipments and signing invoices.
- Coordinate raw material requirements with customer’s buying team for their products.
- Source and purchase supplies from different countries.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Production, Replenishment, QA)
to ensure timely procurement for recent product launches.
- Complete vendor scorecards annually for QA audits or as required.
- Source new raw material vendors and negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery.
- Ensure vendor compliance with SQF regulations and maintain Approved Vendor List.
- Work with our Scheduler for production and prepare daily and weekly production reports for required ingredients.
- Oversee export and import processes for spice goods.
- Coordinate pickups with Logistics Team and external logistics companies.
