The Canadian Cancer Society is hosting its second annual North Shore Daffodil Dash. This family fun event is looking for active, organized volunteers to join our team to make this event a success! A successful committee member is skilled in areas such as marketing, sponsorship, participant recruitment, logistics, and volunteer coordination.

With the guidance and support of past committee members and staff partners at the Canadian Cancer Society, the committee will plan and execute this engaging event.

We are looking for people with robust interpersonal and communication skills, experience in planning and coordinating event logistics, networking skills, sales and fundraising skills, as well as an ability to meet deadlines and multitask.



Volunteers are critical to our accomplishments and we wouldn’t be able to support, inform and empower those touched by cancer without you.

Race Coordinator

The race coordinator takes a lead role in recruiting and stewarding teams, participants and local event sponsors to ensure an exceptional event experience and to promote participant retention for subsequent events. This individual will work closely with the Event Chair to market and promote the event for maximum exposure and success in the community.
