The X-Ray Technician evaluates imaging requisitions and confirms requisition with the doctor's order in the patient's chart, operates radiographic equipment to make radiographs of designated portions of the body, under the supervision of the Chief Technologist and /or Radiologist.

- Associate of Science
- Formal Radiological Technology training from an accredited school
- Previous experience as a Radiological technologist preferred




- Previous experience with PACS, RIS, EMR, CR, OPR, ER, DRX, CT and Meditech preferred
- Valid NYS Radiological Technologist License
- Registered through the A.R.R.T. DOH license injection privileges preferred
