Action Refrigeration & Electrical is a commercial and industrial refrigeration, HVAC and mechanical contractor in Northern Ontario. We are focused on the service and maintenance of commercial and industrial equipment. We are looking for an accomplished technician who is capable of servicing a wide variety of commercial and industrial accounts.
We are looking for someone with good character, a strong knowledge base with the ability to perform as a team player and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, and maintain air conditioning systems in commercial and industrial
buildings.
- Install, repair, and maintain refrigeration systems in commercial buildings.
- Installation, service and maintain equipment
- Keep excellent notes outlining the details of the work performed
- Ensure a thorough and current knowledge of venting and gas codes, air-
conditioning electrical, ductwork, and plumbing
- Correctly interpret assembly and wiring diagrams
- Troubleshoot issues to ensure the system / equipment is in working order prior to
leaving the customer location
- Identify other preventive work while on site
- Prepare and file work orders for completed jobs
- Able to work independently and on-call rotation
Qualifications: (experience needed and education)
- Experience working with gas 400K BTUH or over an asset
- A minimum of 5 years experience
- Have a 313A certification or proof of work experience to obtain one
Salary: $37.50 / hour
Vacation: 2 weeks after first year worked
