Work Schedule: Days, Evenings; On Call: No; Vacancy: Yes – hiring for existing vacancy.

Salary: $47.51–$51.51 per hour.

Bonus and Incentives: $2,000 Signing Bonus + $5,000 Retention Bonus (6 months); $25,000 CCPN incentive for eligible nurses with a 24‑month commitment.

Your Role As an NSWOC with VON, you will leverage your specialized knowledge to provide comprehensive wound assessments, ostomy care, and continence management. You will work in clients' homes or clinics, collaborating closely with an interdisciplinary team to create personalized care plans that promote healing, comfort, and improved quality of life.

- Conduct comprehensive wound, ostomy, and continence assessments and provide evidence‑based care.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in partnership with interdisciplinary teams.
- Educate clients, families, and staff using adult learning principles and evidence‑based teaching materials.
- Act as a clinical resource and mentor to other care providers, staff, and students.
- Collaborate with fellow NSWOCs across the province through weekly virtual meetings to discuss complex cases.

Required Qualifications - Registered Nurse license in the province of practice.

- Completion of Nurses Specialized in Wound, Ostomy & Continence Canada (NSWOCC) WOC‑EP program, International Interprofessional Wound Care Course (IIWCC),



or a Master’s‑prepared Advanced Practice Nurse with formal skin and wound care education.
- Three years of experience in community or acute care settings with a focus on wound care (preferred).
- Experience in community and home care (preferred).
- Ability to perform clinical assessments and initiate health teaching.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective engagement with clients, staff, and the public.
