Description:

Sun West School Division invites applications for the position of Temporary Principal in Rossville School, at Coleville, SK starting November 16, 2026 and continuing until June 29, 2027 The Principal's role is a key leadership position, forming an integral part of an educational team providing shared, critical leadership within our educational community. Strong consideration will be given to candidates who have completed their Masters or are enrolled in graduate work.

Rossville School has a projected enrolment of 29 students for the 2026/27 school year. The teaching assignment will be determined in consultation with the School Superintendent.

We are seeking an instructional leader who can:

- energize and embed the PeBL philosophy in the school community;
- lead the total school community towards a common vision of teaching and learning excellence;
- focus on student achievement;
- model interpersonal, communication and leadership skills;
- utilize a leadership style characterized by collaborative decision-making;




- demonstrate a history of positive relations with students, parents, and staff;
- develop and maintain a safe and orderly learning setting;
- contribute to the positive image of the school and Sun West School Division;
- work effectively with all partners to establish clear goals and direction;
- establish and maintain links with the community;
- exhibit excellent organizational skills;
- demonstrate a working knowledge of computer technology.
