We are seeking a skilled and safety-focused Salvagnini Operator (Euromac) to operate and maintain automated sheet metal fabrication equipment within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality parts, maintaining equipment efficiency, and adhering to strict safety and quality standards in accordance with union guidelines.
Key Responsibilities: Set up, operate, and monitor Salvagnini (Euromac) punching/bending equipment to produce sheet metal components according to specifications
Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders to ensure accurate production
Perform machine adjustments, tooling changes, and minor troubleshooting to maintain optimal performance
Conduct routine inspections and quality checks using gauges, calipers, and measuring tools
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
Perform preventative maintenance tasks and report equipment issues promptly
Maintain accurate production records and documentation
Collaborate with production team members, supervisors, and quality personnel to meet production targets
Follow union rules, collective agreement, and company policies Qualifications &
Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent required
Minimum 2–3 years of experience operating Salvagnini (Euromac), or similar CNC sheet metal fabrication equipment
Robust understanding of CNC operations, tooling, and sheet metal processes
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
Basic computer skills (CNC interface, production tracking systems)
Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude
Effective communication and teamwork skills Compensation: $24.95 per hour
